Deja' Rae is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. She has two novels under contract with Brown Bag Books and is about to complete the third. The three novels are part of her Casualties of Love trilogy. She says "Not a day goes by that I don't write down a thought or belief about something. I love TIMBOOKTU because it has enabled me to finally deliver my thoughts and feelings to so many individuals."
She goes on to say "There are power in words. Words can change the way a person
think or perceive things. If they are used in a positive manner, there is no limit as to
how those words can affect an individual. If I can but change a negative thought into
a positive one, or change a bad feeling into a good feeling or even make a still face
smile, then I am utterly complete in my mission. I love God, my family, life and people
from all walks of life. Writing enables me to tell the world how glad I am to be a part
of it."
