You know when I'm at my best?
When the procrastination stops,
And I'm alone with my thoughts.
Then silence is all around,
And solitude can be found,
When my mind becomes free and clear,
And I embrace myself, and release my fear.
Then what was once a notion,
Is created and put into motion.
Then I feel a kind of happiness,
That can only be described as pure bliss.
Because I fought that lazy excuse
Of telling myself it's no use.
If you keep saying I'll get to it one day,
And find that statement was made one year ago,
Remember … you were the delay,
You were the no show.
Figured it out yet? If not, I'll tell you.
You're at your best after you pray,
And accepts God's answer
Without delay
And the direction you take,
Is right on God's course,
...To think it all begins when the procrastination abates...
