Nailah Abdus-Salaam also known as "The Mumimah Poetess is the published author of two books of poetry. The first published in 2009, entitled Inner Reflections. The message of the book is one of faith. A book that encourages reflection and rectification. The 2nd book she published in 2012, entitled Precious Pearls A Woman's Journey Through Poems. This collection of poems is a tribute to the human experience of Womanhood. It is an inspirational,empowering look into the complexities of the female experience. This book is a tribute and honor to women. She says "I am a Believer, Writer, Educator and a Poetess."
