Not simply because of the seeds of our physical decline
Not simply because of all we have left behind,
Or those things which has gone from us in the passage of time.
We consistently experience the smaller deaths of life,
We are always in the process of ending and beginning.
We experience some forms of death eventually,
Sometimes slowly or other times swiftly,
Endings and beginnings can come abruptly.

There are gains and losses at every age,
In life there is always a turning of a page.
Change is both an ending and a beginning.
One paints the canvas of the beginning of a certain end,
Or it may be the end of an uncertain beginning,
Sometimes they come one at a time or cumulatively.
Beginnings and endings are intertwined.
It is Life, Loss, and Love to Experience,
Beginnings and endings both have deep relevance.
