Our lives changed overnight.
None of us could have predicted,
How our movement would become so restricted.
We met loneliness in isolation,
So much confusion & uncertainty in this situation.
Rarely see loved ones & friends,
No longer face to face communication.
This virus has no discrimination,
Its spread beyond and throughout our nation.
Infecting people without any consideration.
People losing jobs, 
In a state of desperation.
Graduations were canceled that should have been celebrated.

I know pain just doesn’t go away.
Rather you’re outside or in home is where you stay.
If you have lost someone who is precious to you,
Take their dreams and words they spoke,
And wrap them in your heart with hope.
This test hasn’t come to stay,
I pray we all live to see another day.
As for the goodbyes we never got to say,
We can still hold them in our hearts every time we pray.
The love that was there, 
Will never fade away.
