Looney is the pen name of Rosie Banks. She is currently a Billing Administrator for Xerox in Lewisville Texas. She is 24 years of age and will be getting her Masters degree within the next year. A native of Louisiana, she moved to Texas and has lived there since the early 90's. She says "I write about what I feel and experience. Although young I have been through many things to make me the way that I am, in my past work you may see me as being confident and that is true. I have come a long way and I am a beautiful Black woman who will always toot her own horn even if no one else recognizes the greatness of my being (ha!)."
