E. T. Scyffore is from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is the youngest of a family of ten brothers and sisters. He is a graduate from McLain High School, and has served in the armed forces.

His interests include biblical studies and chess playing. He enjoys listening to jazz music and writing poetry. His greatest passion is his love for God. He has authored and co-authored numerous articles pertaining to the subject of biblical apologetics. He is currently working on a poetry book entitled. Heart Huggs -- The Collection
