Alfred Jones III aka A.J. was born October 7th 1980 to Rev. Alfred & Caroline Jones in Memphis, TN. He grew up in Ft.Campbell, KY & Clarksville, TN and graduated form Kenwwood College Prep High School in May of 2000. He is currently a student at Jackson State University where he will graduate in December of 2004 with a B.A. History.

A.J. is not only a poet, but he is also a musician and athlete at Jackson State. He plays the sax for several JSU bands & choirs. He is also a member of the JSU Tiger football team where he is a 6'4, 255 lb. defensive end. He is currently preparing for this up coming season. A.J. is also enganged to Brandie Nicole Holcomb of Oklahoma City,Ok
