Michael Rodriguez has been writing since he was thirteen years old. He writes poetry, short stories and essays on various topics that occassionally reflect his bi-cultural ethnicity (Puerto Rican and African-American), as well as his Christian beliefs.

Currently, he is enrolled in the Graduate Program at Long Island University in pursuit of a degree in English Literature focusing in Creative Writing. He has recently published Out of Brooklyn, a three man anthology and also can be heard in the New York Metro area performing with his partners under the name, Out of Brooklyn.
