Joe Okonkwo is an actor, poet and playwright living in New York City. His poems have appeared previously on the timbooktu web site as well as in the July/August issue of Anthology Magazine. His play, "The Adventures of That Brotherman," was produced by the Edward Albee Workshop in Houston and his adaptation of the classic children's book A Wrinkle in Time was produced by Houston's Main Street Theater. Mr. Okonkwo has also appeared on the off-off Broadway stage--mostly recently in "Wine in the Wilderness" by Alice Childress. He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Houston and enjoys jazz, opera, reading and mosaic craft work.
