Maya Robinson graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia. While enjoying a career on and off stage, poetry has always been a delight and pleasure. Ever since playing Second Voice in Under Milkwood, Maya has sought to blend her love of theatre with her passion for poetry in a way that is equally dramatic and whimsical. She is currently developing two dramatic pieces, one to be performed in the style of spoken word. Maya is also working on a collection of poetry focused on victims of domestic abuse and a dream novel about her childhood home in South Georgia. She currently resides in the Washington, D.C. area.
