Divine Expression is the pen name of Kiana M. Cox. Ms. Cox is a graduate student studying Sociology at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is originally from Chicago, but currently resides in Edwardsville, IL, a suburb of St. Louis. Ms. Cox's philosophy about poetry is that it "gives our heart a voice". She believes that poetry can take whatever form it needs to take and use whatever words it needs to use in order to adequately express what the author intends to express.
