God’s presence is a lovely restaurant
That I continually dine in…
His will for me is a beautiful oak table
Draped in the finest of linen table clothes
(With a lace overlay)
My destiny is the finest handcrafted china this side of the Atlantic
Encouraging the downtrodden is my main course
With teaching the people as a generous side dish.
My degrees are the utensils that are elegantly placed in front of me…
The purest silver you’ll ever see
God’s grace is the clean, crisply folded cloth napkin
Placed in my lap
Just in case I make a mistake and spill something…
(It’s a good stain blocker)
Everything is so good,
So fulfilling…
So life affirming.
The love of my life is like a delectably sweet dessert…
Not a necessity,
But a wonderful addition to a meal that’s already good!
