Ande' Ardnassac' Sir'rah

Ande' Ardnassac' Sir'rah is the pen name of Edna Harris. She reigns from Washington, Ga. She graduated high school in the summer of ‘99 and shortly after graduation, she enlisted in the United States Army. She's been in the Army for 7 years and says she wouldn’t trade it for anything. She says, "It has treated me well, I can’t complain. I’ve been around the world from Germany to Alaska, from Kosovo to Iraq(*2), from Texas to Cali. A traveling southern gal, I must admit indeed."

She started writing poetry at a very young age, around the age of 12 or 13. She says, "I love poetry because it allows me to get my thoughts out some kind of way. My trademark is my name spelled backwards, I thought it was unique. So I begin using it and keep it. Ande’ Ardnassac’ Sir’rah, That’s me!"

She's written well over a hundred poems, some are personal, but most are not. She says, "Poetry, it’s a beautiful thing! Signed, sealed and delivered, 'still me and I'm never changing!"

You can contact Ms. Harris via e-mail at sanhi80@hotmail.com or by sending an e-mail to TimBookTu and it will be forwarded.
