Amina Asha is ? years old. She has two children, both girls; Amira & Jamila. She has been writing for awhile now, ever since she was as young as 10 years old. She says "I breath in poetry, the essence of poetry dwells deep into my soul. I write mainly about reality and black awareness. I've written over 120 poems ready to be published. (God willing) I really enjoy logging on to Timbooktu and exploring the many styles of poetry. I am so grateful to submit my work and letting others view what Allah (God) has given me. The gift of expressing myself through poetry..."

She continues, "...one love to all of those who view my work. My poetry is intended to uplift ones heart and become one, which will allow us as black people to become universal in all aspects of life."
