Bhekumusa Moyo is a poet from Zimbabwe. Moyo is 28 years old. He has performed Hispoetry at the prestigious Harare International Festival of the Arts, Maun Poetry Festival, SADC Poetry Festival, Word ’n’ Sound Festival, Intwasa Arts Festival, Power In the Voice Festival by British Council, Protest Arts International Festival and many invitational performances. He has published one collection of English Poems called: The Gourd of Dishonor and another in Ndebele called: Emnyameni (In the dark). He says, "I am a political artist whose works seeks to be a voice of the oppressed hence the stage name 'The Protest Poet.'"
