From the inner city slums of Atlanta, Georgia emerges M.L. Turner. A student of classic black literature and poetry, some of his favorite Authors include: James Weldon Johnson, Richard Wright, Jean Toomer, Langston Hughes, and Donald Gaines. His work can be described as having a cross between the old and new school Black poetry style. He only wishes to make his contribution to the literary and poetic community. He is currently living in San Diego CA and working for the Federal Government. Turner also writes under the pen name of GA Slimm.
