He's recently been notified of his acceptance with Poetry as a semi-finalist in their annual poetry contest. In addition, he will be featured in their publication Eternal Portraits. He goes on to say "My sundry experiences have taught me that I must use my talent to communicate those same lessons and views with the intent that existing cultural conditions might change."

Mr. Parker says "As the medium of poetry grows and expands, I am suited to divulge new prose ideas to TimBookTu because I am constantly searching for original methods to portray and enhance my expressions such as Haiku and other hybrids of prose.
