Chele is Michele Rene Matthews, a 38-year old single mother of two beautiful, brilliant children. She is not a poet, but a fiction writer. However, poetic inspiration hits from time to time. Her essay "Holding Onto My Dreams in the Midst of a Nightmare" has been published in the Journal of Intergroup Relations. She resides in Virginia Beach, VA.
