Travis Tapley resides in Slidell, Louisiana. He says "I have been writing poetry for about 8 years and just recently started writing what I call society or culture poems. I long for all of us to live as one and forget what color we are. The skin doesn't matter, the heart does."

He has had a few poems published on the internet, a couple in some anthologies and last year won a songwriting and on-line poetry contest. He also placed two poems in the Slidell, La. 2000 Millenium edition chapbook.
