Another Dream

by Travis Tapley

I saw the colors of many children,
Walking hand in hand,
Visions to share.

Goals of tomorrow,
Planted in children of today.

Each child aware of who he was,
Not caring what he was.

Color blindness finally alive,
Living in the heart,
Instead of the eyes.

Every child translucent,
Through eyes that see no hate.

Then in the background I saw the image,
A man that paid a price,
Because of this vision.

And when I opened my eyes,
I realized I too had a dream.
