Raynata Y. Reed received her BA in speech communication/journalism from Tennessee State University in Nashville, and is currently pursuing a master’s in journalism at the University of Memphis. She is a freelance writer for GRACE Magazine in Memphis, and for the Memphis chapter of National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Some of her poetry has appeared in The Sidewalk’s End (wtse.net); doenetwork.com; and dreamvirus.com.
