Stephanie Yarbrough-Quinn states, "I love to write, writing is like meditation for my soul and for my sanity." She is an Indie author and is still editing a self-help book that she wrote nearly two years ago. She is married, a proud mother of 2.5 kids and she resides in Texas.

She states that she wrote the poem "On Michelle's Behalf" because, "I have been appalled and grieved by the abusive remarks that were made regarding our First Lady Michelle Obama. No matter what she always remains graceful. I do admire that, but I am not the first lady so I wanted to get something off my chest, in away that she would respect."
