Kids outside having fun,
On the ground there was a gun,
Suspects many but there was none,
Any bodies on it,
Uncertain,
But what’s done is done,
Shock and anger,
Fear of stranger,
Putting minors,
Lives in danger,
Environmental hobby,
Someone "Prayed for Bobby",
Spared parents from emotional outbursts,
In hospital lobby,
The encounter actually occurred,
To this day,
Still absurd,
Neighbors spread the word,
So whoever gun it was,
I’m sure they heard,
The drama they caused,
Proving the system's flaws,
The ghetto don't apply to their laws,
And by-laws,
My siblings were the scavengers,
On the unexpected hunt,
Always remain grateful,
They survived the horrible stunt.
