Spinnin' Magic Like YOU Do

by Paula Patton-Ross

Spinnin magic like you do
I squint my eyes to see
your aura,
it’s a good thing
craving the warmth
it brings
to me
multiplicity
then back atcha.
Spinnin magic like you do
There’s a thought at first
do you ever take a peek outside
to see what the day looks
like?
or did you plan it
in your sleep?
My soul to keep
each perfect day….
and back atcha.
Spinnin magic…
just like you do
a gentle cyclone
a humble storm
a careful Sun
if clouds could only follow
the magic
of lazy daze
time standing still
Tell me, will you
be here
tomorrow?
