Omarr RaSharjd Lee works for the Federal Government in Washington, DC. In addition to his government job, he is a freelance writer. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Bowie State University. During his junior year at BSU, he interned as a writer for BET. He was also a freelance writer for The Washington Informer, a local newspaper in Washington, DC. He recently had some of his work published in the New England Informer.

He admires Maya Angelou and says, "Always believe, that you can achieve, and that indeed, you are phenomenal in so many ways."
