Voyage to Atlantis

by Nakia O. Mothershed

You turned my world on its axis
Like the breeze on a stormy day
Nursing my deeply hidden wounds
Traveling on lands of blue

Oppression is the game of strategy
Brain washing is the ultimate tragedy

You blame the man for your plight
But how many brotha's did you kill tonight

Liquor stores on each an every corner
Is this coincidence or genocide I wonder
You fall into his game so easily
You worry about money and phat cars
Yet day by day the man plays you mentally

You blame the man for your plight
But how many sista's did you rape tonight

Raping her womb with your so call manhood
Just another bastard child growing you in the hood
Too busy claiming a set
But to stupid to mail that child support check
My brotha's what voyage are you on

You blame the man for your plight
How many mothers are crying tonight
If you keep traveling down this road of deception
Tigers are not only going to be on the list of extinction.
