Marco A. Nickelson was born and raised in Richmond, VA where he resided for twenty years until he joined the Navy in 1995. He's currently residing in Virginia Beach, VA and he married a beautiful woman in September 1996. He's a proud father of 3 boys and 1 girl ages 8, 7, 4, and 2. He says "Through their lives as well as obstacles presented I gain my inspiration to write poetry as well as music. My life long goal is to publish a poetry book marking my place in literary functionality."
