To Whom It May Concern

by LaVerne Prade

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Look at me my brother, not just the skeleton or the surface of me.
Search deep within my soul, beneath my skin. Take me apart and dissect my
true being, the real me.

Look at me naked and see me in my vulnerable state. Accept me,
protect me, for I am your Eve and you my Adam.

I've always loved you, but you left me all alone like a lost animal
in a wet forest.

I look at you black man, and oh do I like what I see. Your beautiful
black skin and your strong shoulders excite me, your intellect challenges me
and your presence electrifies me.

I want to look deep within your mind and drain you, as if I can, of
the love I know you have for me.

Look at me my brother, for I am still beautiful and sexy, and can
arouse your sexual desires.

Look at me my brother, for I am the mother of the earth and my womb
stores centuries of ancestors, while my breasts provide life and
nourishment.

Dammit, I am hurting because we have lost each other.

As I think of you and what we've shared, the days become shorter and
shorter.

Please my brother hurry before it's too late.

Look at me, remember me, love me. Bask in my everloving beauty,
while being intoxicated by my womanhood.
