Anointed Voice is from New Orleans and currently resides in Slidell, La. She has been writing poetry for about 15 years, but sought to move into her gift of writing about 8 years ago. She says, "I write and speak under the name Anointed Voice because I speak to inspire. Poetry can be written in various ways, but I mostly write in story form to express a beginning, middle, and end to draw in the reader and ignite something inside of them. I have a passion for writing and to motivate others. I believe a reader can be moved by using a relatable message from beginning to end. I would like to show forth my writing and poetic voice to others, voicing words of love, life, and healing."

She published her first book Expressions of the Heart, and she is working on her second book, which will be more than poetry. She has written and spoken poetry for various occasions and is continuing to stretch forth her gift to others.
