defending your corner from a rival
has become your only means of survival

selling drugs and being slick
hoping somebody on you don't trick

to the feds or a local "dick"
while you make dem stacks fast and quick

for a hot minute you were da man
now  red tape surrounds your body where you use to stand

shot dead by a hitter from another set
you didn't even see him coming i bet
