Newborn babies still cry

while Poets and Philosophers ask the eternal question-why?


Politicians to us still lie

while starry eyed lovers gaze at each other and sigh


605 people year to date here are dead

that's what the Channel 7 Reporter said


More folks like lambs to the slaughter will be led

to keep the "Legion" fed


I pray for an invention from the divine

because here in Chicago it's-"Life During War Time"
