shot by the cops dead on the ground
 
This is my reality

Being Black in America has always come with a high cost
but, lately it is reminding me of Milton's "Paradise Lost"
 
We survive natural disasters and man made tragedies
that rival the tales of the great Ulysses
 
While dealing with all of the pain and shame
we prayerfully await GOD'S end game
