Being Yet Nothingness

by Hussein

The images of slavery in your mind you need to revamp
it was not a day at Bel Air Summer Camp

Today PETA would not let even animals that way be harmed
on any plantation or farm

Back breaking work endlessly soiling in the sun
and at night still NO fun

Hoping not to be the victim of Massa's date rape
sadly both males and females that fate they did not escape

If you failed in your attempt to runaway
from the business end of a rope your lifeless body would sway

Your surroundings were the definition of repulsiveness
you slowly became an emotional zombie, a poster child of being yet nothingness
