Daybreak

by Goldie

Everyday, as the sun rises,
I find my eyes lost within it's soul,
Constantly thinking about her,
Her face,
Her eyes,
Her spirit,
Then I become entrapped in the middle,
As the memories of her wrap around my body,
Just as the warm rays of the sun awaken my existance,
And my eyes become eclipsed to the world,
As my heart becomes my vision leading me to her love,
Taking me over valleys and mountains of heartbreak,
To the realm of eternal happiness where she waits,
As just a glance of her beautiful face,
Makes my heart explode into an abundance of everlasting joy,
And just as I extend my arms to hold her forever,
The sun begins to set on our love,
As she runs away from the passions I hold within,
Being pulled away by another love that beckons her,
And as she disappears into the night of loneliness,
My tears cloud the last visions of our happiness,
As I break down to my knees in the darkness,
Waiting endless hours of time,
Until the sun rises up my spirit,
And we are together again,
Forever.
