Male Man

by T. Forrest

What messages do you deliver?
When you come words reek like a stagnate river
Articulate your status, never mind the bliss,
is it real the messages?
Or should I look deeper at the messenger carrying it
See with the eyes of my spirit
Stained lips misinterpreted, emotions are deceiving
But truth is never hid it always speaks
What are you delivering to me today?
Does it have substance?
If I was a simple sista
I wouldn’t mind male man you could come everyday
I would greet you at the gate and the junk you just dropped
I would say… mmm
Because every word I ate would be good to me no matter the taste
But I know of the sweet nectar stored
A well so deep within you that is yet to be explored
A feast fit for Kings and Queens
Only if you would let it be
Male Man, a table for two is set for a love odyssey
I’m just waiting on you to deliver a genuine R.S.V.P.
