Beautiful is the sunlight
I greet each day
Welcoming its invitation
To brighten up my way
Splendid is the grass
That lay at my feet
A carpet of plush
Barefoot walker’s treat
Magnificent is the mountain
Which grows up from the earth
Yesterday I saw it
As just a speck of dirt
Beautiful is the sky
Guiding me to dream
Of never ending possibilities
Bound by not a seam
Splendid is the ocean
That pours into the sea
Travels all around the world
Yet comes back to me
Magnificent is the moonlight
Which tucks me in to sleep
I’m thankful for the vigil
It intends to keep
All that I behold
Is undeniably heaven sent
Also naturally
Beautiful, splendid, magnificent
