I breathe

Once again my soul, it still mine
And my compassion is still offered
My understanding still clear
For I shall never allow this world
to harden my heart
Or destroy my humanity
Despite the worlds attempts,
I still succeeded
Though this time.......
It was a narrow escape

Once more my mind is free
I live
I think
I feel
Though the thoughts of my bondage
haunt my heart.
I have completed my mission.
My faith is strong,
My will un-wavered,
And I shall never dwell
in dark hollows again.
