Design of Humanity

by Trina Williams-Emigh

People have tried and died
For a harmony of race
Which has yet to happen in this worldly place

We've flown to the moon
And we view the stars
Were even searching for life on mars

Women give birth to litters
Scientists clone sheep
And in africa
A starving baby weeps

Crime is big business
Drugs on the streets
And jails are considered
A criminals treat

Rape and incest
Molestation
I confess
With the knowledge we possess
That the state of society
Is truly a mess

So don't make me laugh
With this search for another race
When we can't even live together
In the surroundings of our own space
