Cursian and Chronos

CHRONOS

Unfaithful to thee, hast I been.
Upon thou heart I hast trampled
And wounded thee.
But from the deepest darkest of our Africa,
Why hast thou called upon the spirits
Of timeless immortality to curse me!
The tears on thy pillow will forever keep.
Thee hast cursed me to forever exsist!!
Thy hast aged a century,
Yet never to die!
And for what?
For me to live, always destined...to remember why.
This wretched condition hast me mourning.
Thy art mourning for death...
For death to save me from this eternal exsistence.
Thy unfaithfulness hast cursed me!
The Nile River's movement will forever flow.
Dancing like waves of life.
Why canst my life flow as this happy river?
Thy wish to forfeit thy miserable strife!
The sun will rise and set.
The karoo will bloom,
And African rain will fall.
Oh why didn't thy love for thee make call?
Your curse hast built me a wall
That keeps my soul a slave,
And dashes my hopes to rocks like waves!

CURSIAN

Here I am Chronos!
I hear thee cry for death!
Thou existence hast become a torture.
This curse thou know hast been brought upon thyself.
I loved thee with passion untold.
No love that anyone hast,
Could ever be as bold.
But unfaithful you...loved another!
Can thee now...love me true!
Make the love in mine eyes see
And I will once again restore thee.

CHRONOS

Thee art still young and beautiful!
Why?
Thou art as old as I!
Your youth mocks my age!
This curse, curses me even more
Wilst you, my youth restore?

CURSIAN

Thy will,
If thou love is true.
A thousand years thy hast longed for thee,
To have your love...just for me!
Thy will set your afflicted curse free!
Cast it unto the winds,
Forgiving us both of our sins!

CHRONOS

I can not love as thee desires.
Thy once true love hast died.
When thy strayed away from thou side,
Thy love hast rotted!
Don't you see!
Thy soul is cursed of love for thee!
Thy want to die and not live!!
Take me away from here Cursian!
Oh death, where is thy sting!
Take me back into the earth!
Cursian, I ask, so thee can save,
For this life is but, the cruelest grave.

CURSIAN

Tears fall from thine eyes with host of pain!
You seem to have no more love to gain.
Never will thy make thine eyes see.
Never again will thy love me!
The distant thunder and rain
Will bless the bloomed Karoo.
And yet, I am cursed too.
I know what I must do...
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust.
Deep into the darkest earth,
Thee and I shall reap a new birth!
Ancient African spirits...
Cast away mine old cursed curse!
Take all our life, love, joy and lust...
Turn it all back into dust!
Ashes to ashes.
All back to dust...
