Adam & Eve

by Miguel A. Wilder & Trina Williams-Emigh

I am the first man to have stepped upon this earth.
Through God I gave the land, the sea, and sky their worth.

I gave name to the plants, animals, and elements too.
I also laid down the laws, that have been passed down to you.

I was destined to lead, God gave me the right.
I have been planned since He spoke the words,
"LET THERE BE LIGHT!"

Don't be angry
It was in GODS plan
My inevitable destiny
To begin what you now call, history
I gave you a beginning
though you might call it sinning
I call it, the evolution of man

And if you don't understand,
Any thoughts you've had...I've already had them.
Still can't fathom
There is no you, without Adam.

I am the first woman to have stepped upon this earth
The first woman to have accepted man's seed,
And from it, given birth

I am the first woman to have walked on this land
Swam in these seas
Climbed these mountains
Picked fruit, from these trees

Don't be angry
It was in GODS plan
My inevitable destiny
To begin what you now call, history
I gave you a beginning
though you might call it sinning
I call it, the evolution of man

And if you don't understand,
Still can't perceive
There is no you, without Eve
