Where Are You Spending Your Time

by Doris Hall

The past has past
Is it a weight on your mind
Lay it aside
Then leave it behind

The future is not promised
And it is not here
It can waste today and sometimes bring fear

The past and the future leave behind
The things of today let occupy your time

Your mind will wander
But take control
Live in the present
And let it unfold
