I don't watch TV
 because  it is much cheaper to me
 to just close my eyes and lunch 
of the TV channels that I see
 in my head 
I find them interesting 
but among other things real 
because there are no magic pills 
or  happy endings
 because people get killed
every day and that's just one channel
on the TV IN MY MIND
go to another channel and you might see
some terrible tales
from a childhood
oh 
that's me!
Taken by the Hand 
at such a very young age
behind closed doors 
are mental sores that won't fade
the reception fades out
just as you start to feel 
info-mercials 
that seem all to real
"get this"
"get that"
"be like mike"
"carry a gat"
"sell crack"
"3 strikes put you back"
to reality 
my TV is not rated P.G.
it's rate N.C.
for No Cable
you see 
 the TV IN MY MIND
 stays on 
24/7
blunt smoke in the air

as I gaze
in a daze 
lunchin of the cartoon channel 
but one can only handle 
but so much fake shit
I make's it happen
cause and effect 
tis the season
people catch reck 
for all the wrong reasons
I stay in my own world
where there are no perils
where there are rewards for good little boys and girls
I also have a spiritual station
where in this crazy mixed up nation
and hard times we facin'
It's like a nightmare 
with Freddie Krugger & Jason
I'm chassin' 
the manifestation of things 
soon to come
for a job well done
no need to worry 
no need to fret
there is no guide
