Misery

by Destiny

Imagine a heart with a love to seek,
Affection and protection; it would love to meet,
But pain and rejection; is all that it speaks,
So naturally the question; is why does it beat?

It's your love soon; my heart will be needing,
And because of this womb; my heart will be bleeding.

I'm sure many may ask; how does a heart shed blood?
And my response to that; is one that's not loved

For our love to work; will take a miracle,
Nstead these words are given birth; so negative and cynical.

Perhaps u should be arrested; and prosecuted as charged,
For a crime of stolen possession; being that my heart.

It's your love that has me hooked; so it I claim
But if the "shoe were on the other foot; "would it be the same?

I now drown in sorrow; from what you do to me?
Because you've turned our tommorrow; into a used to be.

This love is now weak; which once was stronger,
When my heart could once beat; but not any longer.

Only god knows why; of this pain he's given me,
& soon I just might die; because of this misery.
