Seeds of Hate

by Juan Antonio Cordova

~I~
A garden was planted in a very fruitfull hill.
with great love and care this fertile land was tilt.
The choicest of seeds were planted with joy;
the harvest was plentifull and everyone enjoyed.

~II~
But, an enemy entered and tore its fence down.
He trampled every plant and shredded to the ground.
The fowls of the air all flew terrified;
and the inhabitants of the valley were all mystified.

~III~
This villain; hired many laborers like him;
to put us asunder without and within.
Seeds of bigotry and hatred were planted on this hill;
a legacy began against humanity's will.

~IV~
Seeds of hate and oppression has spread like a fire;
to divide every culture; its ultimate desire.
The seeds have now scattered all over the earth;
The macabre plan is set: "a superior race".

~V~
These seeds of deception will never prevail;
and those with such legacy live a fairytale.
We are brothers and sisters regarless of race;
let's all work together to end this disgrace.
