One of the easiest traps to fall into

And we find so easy to do

Is lying to ourselves about who we are

What we are and where we stand

Yet we listen to other mere human beings

Do all they can to tear us down, put us down

And hang around us until there is nothing

Left of us to put down,

Tear us down and knock us down

 

I pray daily about such things in every area of my life.

I try spending the majority of my time and energy

Serving Christ Who is the head of my life.

 

I got so tied of being exhausted

Having literally given everything I had,

To what I did and what others wanted me too

I found myself loosing those I loved

And those truly loving me.

 

Then one day I gave myself to Christ

He changed my life

My tank is no longer empty bit full.

I am no longer beat down

And my family love having me around

 

So the problem is no longer mines

And for my family I find time

I now go to bed with a peaceful mind

And my life is no longer out of line.
