Sweet Peace |

If I could but touch one soul. If I could but be heard by just one. If I could make a different to just that one. Sweet Peace I would find. Oh How I seek Peace sweet peace, I find Peace an irrepressible yearning presently in my heart, peace sweet peace regardless of my cultrural identity.See I know Peace resides in me. Since I was a child my mother always told me that all people are members of one and the same family. It did not matter if they were black or white, yellow or brown if we could learn to live together Peace would always be around. Instead we are all dying because of an extreme exaltation of differences clashes of this fundamental truth especially since we do not want to face the naked bone truth. We reject the truth and lie for a lie and Sweet Peace we deny. Peace sweet peace, I find Peace an irrepressible yearning presently in my heart, peace sweet peace regardless of my cultural identity. Peace must always resides in me. We need awareness of truth that we share a common destiny that’s ultimately transcendent; to maximize our historical and cultural differences, not in opposition to, but in cooperation with, people belonging to other cultures. Peace must start at home. Within You and within me. Then and then only will Sweet Peace, sweet peace be long to all mankind,Yes I find Peace an irrepressible yearning presently in my heart, peace sweet peace regardless of my cultural identity. Peace must always resides in me first if I desire to reach out and touch just that one. I too must be at peace.. If we could just believe in these simple truths what peace would be possible for all mankind. Peace would live at every house, in every heart and in every mind. If we could but love as the Father would have us love we would all come to understand by listening with our own hearts with pure intentions. And no pretending that what we truly seek we would find for Peace would be seen in a new light: not as the mere absence of war, but as a harmonious coexistence of individual citizens within a society governed by justice, one in which the good is also achieved, to the extent possible, not just for the white man but the black man, the red man and the yellow and brown man as well. To live on this earth wouldn’t be such hell. Instead we as a people would be a true family and wish each other good health, love and the energy of staying well as we reach out to each other we would not live in this distant hell that we have learned to function daily in. For we would be lovers of God and only then would we be lovers of money, wealth, and sin. Peace sweet peace, I find Peace an irrepressible yearning presently in my heart, peace sweet peace regardless of my cultural identity. Peace resides in me. Until my brothers and sisters find peace I suppose we will pull farther apart. The truth of peace calls upon everyone to cultivate productive and sincere relationships. It encourages them to seek out and to follow the paths of forgiveness and reconciliation, to be transparent in their dealings with others, and to be faithful to their word. In a particular way, the followers of Christ, recognizing the insidious presence of evil and the need for that liberation brought by the divine Master, look to him with confidence, in the knowledge that "he committed no sin; no guile was found on his lips." But Truth and Peace, sweet peace could be found within Him, because of Him I find Peace an irrepressible yearning presently in my heart, peace sweet peace regardless of my cultural identity. Peace resides in me as a child of the Living God. Jesus defined himself as the Truth in person, and, in addressing the seer of the Book of Revelation, he states his complete aversion to "every one who loves and practices falsehood." Peace sweet peace, I find Peace an irrepressible yearning presently in my heart, peace sweet peace regardless of my cultural identity. Peace resides in me. can reside in all men if we just give God our hearts. Jesus has disclosed the full truth about humanity and about human history. The power of his grace makes it possible to live "in" and "by" truth, since he alone is completely true and faithful. Jesus is the truth which gives us peace. The truth of peace must also let its beneficial light shine even amid the tragedy of war. The truth of peace exists even in the midst of war. Respect for that law must be considered binding on all peoples. Its value must be appreciated and its correct application ensured. History has amply demonstrated that declaring war on God in order to eradicate him from human hearts only leads a fearful and impoverished humanity toward decisions which are ultimately futile. This realization must impel believers in Christ to become convincing witnesses of the God who is inseparably truth and love, placing themselves at the service of peace in broad cooperation with other Christians, the followers of other religions and with all men and women of good will. As we grow and learn to trust we will without a doubt come to know, Peace sweet peace, we'll find Peace as an irrepressible yearning presently in our heart, this peace, this sweet peace regardless of our cultural identity will forever resides in our hearts. Sweet Peace, sweet peace is the Son of God. He's yet knocking at the Heart. |
