Judgment Call! Two

by Catherinebutterfly

Dedicated to :Judge Donald Zuidmulder

They ripped at my brain, they torn at my heart

I give God the praise for me He’d saved

Or by now I know I would have been in the grave.

I opened the paper today

I read it and I clearly understood

Exactly what the mothers had to say.

As I silently read it,

All I could do was bow my head and pray

Lord come, have your way. Slavery’s still here

Playing the game of control, stealing lives

Trying to collect souls, all for the devil and his deep pit

They won’t quit. We as a people are still falling into it.

Different situations

Different cases

Different occasions

But I saw the same faces.

There was no color

There were no different cries

For all those that had been killed

Shouldn’t have had to died

This was all I could say as I prayed

Lord I await your day.

Different situations

Different cases

Different occasions

But I saw the same faces.

Somebody wanted power

Somebody wanted to play God

Somebody killed our boys

That didn’t have a heart.

They tell me it was the president.

They tell me it was the law makers,

They tell me it was justice

But justice have not prevail

Because many boys like mines

Are still in a living hell.
