If I Could Write A Poem

by Catherinebutterfly

If I could write, a poem to night I'd tell you how I feel
If I could write a poem to night I'd send you some daffodils,
the flowers would express the joy I feel inside
they'd warm your heart,
embrace you instead of daffodil's,
you'll feel my warmths besides you
my heart pounding near,
pounding, pounding with every beat.
and then I, the daffodils would slid beneath the sheets,
if I could write a poem to night all your problems would fall away,
what you through was a problem you would call it a great mistake,
a daffodil you probably wouldn't choose,
but you would enjoy, for in that little flower,
you'd swear I was there.
If I could write a poem to night I would fill it with joy,
I'd come to you like an angel, and heavens you'd behold,
the hell would disappear at least for a little while.
don't you hear,
if I could write a poem tonight I'd send you daffodils,
your wife would never suspect its me
when she place them in a pot,
she probably would wonder although how flowers could be so hot.
I'd feed you spiritual, and physical too,
emotions you thought was gone would suddenly appeal
onces you gone to sleep I'd pull up the sheets
until next time my love sleep, sleep sleep,
sweet dreams from your loving daffodil
