Give God the honor in your business
In your marriage
In your personal and private life and time
Always go before Him in prayer
With honesty and truth
Where you want to go He will get you there.
To be an entrepreneur is godly
To be a manager is ungodly
The decision to honor God
In business once has been made,
Is to prosper as you go
Giving God the praise as you go
Even when that business is going slow
In Loving God and honoring Him
Let us remember that massive stones
Can go wrong
And imported timbers in and of themselves
Will never bring honor to the Lord as
He intends and deserves.
This may be good indeed,
But beholding unto His children needs
Touches, blesses and honor Him
Will bless beyond belief
Into the point of total release.
While stepping on the beast.
Christians today face the same crisis
Of authenticity as long ago.
Our challenge is to remember that
A heart thriving in a personal relationship
With our magnificent Savior will produce
Actions honoring God—
And nothing but you can tear that apart.
Honoring God as the head of our lives and
The seeker of our hearts makes a Happy God
But that order cannot be reversed for it
Would be a curse.
Common sense tells us sweet,
Fresh water naturally flows from a spring.
And we can’t just give God any ole thing.
Just because you've found water,
However, doesn't mean there is a spring—
It might be a cesspool!
So don’t you be no fool
If you're not a creator,
Then you're a creature.
Unless I am conscious of
Being that which I seek,
I will not find it.
As honoring God requires
A decision to do so and appropriate
Direction to take,
So it must result in
A determination to act
And react even if the devil try and attack
Proverbs 3:9 reminds us,
"Honor the Lord with your wealth,
With the fristfruts of all your crops.
Give Him His right off the top
“Surely giving joyfully and sacrificially
Is one first step in our acts to honor God,
A step that will be accompanied by many more—
To the glory of God!
The old saw may be trite, but most often it is true:
Actions speak louder than words.
If we desire to honor the Lord in our life,
Then that desire will be expressed best when given
The concrete substance of action—
When we do something to honor him.
Do it until we find satisfaction.
And I promise you, you’ll rest better at night
When you ask Him is He pleased,
You will fall asleep before you rise up off your knees.
